It tells, through testimonies, images and narration, the drama of migrants in refugee camps and the tragedies of the Mediterranean, giving voice especially to the denied childhood of those fleeing war.

Cerotti sul cuore (eng)
In the summer of 2022, Sanguemisto staged four performances as part of the Estate Fiorentina, intertwining theater, music, dance, and poetry to address universal themes such as war, borders, the condition of women, and migration. Through these works, the company strongly reaffirmed the duty to bear witness and to say no to war and injustice, even when it may seem a useless or idealistic gesture.

Il Dio dalle corna di toro (eng)
This is a dance theater performance, a first dramaturgical study in memory of Giuliano Scabia, presented as part of the "Feeding God" project.
It is a reflection inspired by the Bacchae and Dionysus, Euripides' bull-horned god. A protean deity: the god who destroys all boundaries; the god who annihilates, transforms, and empowers human interiority. Dionysus: exhilaration, contradiction, and otherness.
The contribution aims to provide an introspective analysis of the topic, but it also becomes a syncretic act of voice, movement, and percussion, expanding and embracing ritual sounds, ecstatic suggestions, and sub-Saharan spirituality.

Mi sta a cuore (eng)
Noi siamo solo andata (eng)
A performance inspired by Erri De Luca's “Only Gone,” which weaves together theater, poetry, dance and music to recount the desperate journey of migrants. Through a collective and polyphonic narrative, it celebrates human strength and resilience, giving voice to the hopes and difficulties of those who cross the world in search of a better future.
Oltre la luna (eng)
