A journey through stories, music and testimonies to explore the meaning of diversity, integration and interculturality. A mosaic of real voices and experiences that crosses the boundaries of conventional narratives.
“Stories on the Walls” is an audiovisual experiment created during the 2020 pandemic. Through a series of online conversations with artists, philosophers, actors and activists, the project addresses themes central to Sanguemisto: diversity, inclusion and theater as a tool for integration.
Each interview is an opportunity to share concrete experiences, personal experiences, and deep reflections on the meaning of cross-cultural encounters. The common thread is a series of questions that guide the dialogue:
- What does diversity mean?
- What is the role of theater in integration?
- How do we overcome a wall, symbolic or real?
In parallel, the video brings together artistic contributions that enrich the narrative, including music, dance and poetry.

“Ours is a theater of Dream and Denunciation.”
Style and languages
The style of the video is dynamic and multifaceted, alternating:
Interviews and stories: Spontaneous dialogues with guests from different artistic and social backgrounds.
Music and singing:
- Chibo transforms wall writings into song verses.
- Pamela Larese accompanies Valentina Grigò in an intense version of “Amara Terra Mia.”
Dance: Short choreographic inserts by Francesca Stampone.
Poetry and storytelling: Elisa Severi closes the video by reciting and singing Gian Maria Testa’s “Seminatori di grano.”
The result is a fluid and unpredictable interweaving of languages, reflecting the complexity and richness of the human experiences narrated.
